Drying

Wood drying consists in reducing the moisture content
to reach a desired level.

Drying techniques differ depending on wood species and future use of the wood concerned (AD natural Drying and KD Artificial Drying)

The energy used to fuel the dryer comes from a wood-fired boiler which optimizes sawmill performance as related products are used.

Commitment to quality:

  • Final moisture content homogeneity
  • Minimum splits
  • No discolouring
  • Reduced warpage
